6th Grade Assignment #10

Spreadsheets are good for lists. They were invented to keep track of money, which is often recorded in lists of credits and debits. We are going to practice using spreadsheets for lists by putting a timeline of an era of ancient Rome on a spreadsheet.

1. Download the spreadsheet here by clicking here and getting it from this Wiki site. It is called “Ancient Rome.xls”. Save the spreadsheet to your computer, open it, then minimize it.

2. Go to the timeline page by clicking here.

3.Put the dates and headings of each section in the appropriate boxes on your spreadsheet.

4. Read the information in each section then, using their words and your own, write short descriptions of each era in the “description” boxes on your spreadsheet.
